By accessing or using Rafin ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and premium subscribers.
Rafin is a personal finance management application that helps users track expenses, split bills with friends, manage budgets, and connect bank accounts. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
The free tier provides basic expense tracking and group splitting features with certain limitations.
Pro subscribers receive access to AI-powered insights, recurring expenses, savings goals, data export, and priority support.
Ultimate subscribers receive all Pro features plus bank account sync, automatic transaction import, subscription detection, and net worth tracking. Ultimate tier is limited to 5 connected bank accounts.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not a financial advisor and the Service is not intended to provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rafin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
